How to get to 82?

say, "hey folks, listen to my good news."
If there is a heckler..., just reply to me
in 3-line paragraphs. I am easily distracted
but I can always handle a 3-line paragraph.
Now, most people know that cafe-work
is HARD work. They are surprised to hear
that Wim is still alive. How did that work?
I thought it would be useful to now how
to get to 82. People in their 20s and 40s
in 1979, in the 80s and 90s are now 50+
"As Time Goes-By" from "Casablanca" and
compared to Cafe WIM by JOHN GOGHLAN
it goes-by fast. The 50+ will soon be..80+ !
The Good News is that it can be done.
Here are the 4 points that I like to shout
from my soap-box so you get to 82 too.
In the early 80s, the cafe was filled with
cigarette-smoke, even the Smokeeter units
could not handle it. I quit smoking in 1989.
Bob Hope (100) a med. student at first said,
"sleep whenever you can." I discovered that
my brain can be set for a 20 min. catnap.
Exercise and breathing. I can climb steep
inclines by bicycle without "side-effects"
Bicycling is good for exercise and breath.
Small meals. Berries, oats/ bran/ blackstrap
molasses/ 7 grain bread/ Earth Balance (not
butter) canned tuna, Baby Spinach and nuts.
That is all? Yes. Those bits and pieces did go
a long way for me. Instead of dessert, I take
a handful of dried cherries. Perfect for me.
The heckler, "all good and well, but I think
that you, Wim have good 'genes', excellent
medical care and an intelligent wife: Iris."
I'd say, "there you are folks. My hat off to
the heckler." So,...make sure that you'all put
that in the mix, then you'll be 82 too & happy.
