Weatherwise, everything went well for life in politics this election year Fall. Leafs fell first and on a day of clear vision our neighbours walked into a booth to decide on what government
they will be governed. For us snow, cold and trumpet sounds.
We should have build a wall, Wim. You are a Dutchman, but we Canadians are not having the same
scene of 200 years ago. We were British Subjects long enough and not likely Americans. Our climate affords us a tru-deau clear vision.
I am impressed by this country on the same latitude as Iceland,
Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, with Canada being the second largest on the planet. It is safe and sound for millions more to live.
Can you in your wooden shoes put in
a word on this US-hulla-balloe, 2016?
The chosen one gets into a big shiny limo but has little knowledge of the limo. It is huge, a bewildering complexity. The Netherlands, your "wooden shoes" land, 21 political
parties solved homo-marriage, abortion, drugs, et c., about 25 yrs ago.
The new man in town likes to keep it in the Family, a bit like Kennedy, also supported by Father's money and knowledge, but the Kennedy
Family kids were better known for their individual accomplishment. So,..we'll see.
As a Dutchman it seems odd to me that so many people choose to be governed by one man. Government is for people with wishes
or demands that become parties in the Government. In America it comes to a shoot-out in main street.
