The Rage

The Rage

Hello my most dear Virtual Cafe WIM honourable and faithful Guests.

This is what I heard at the entrance. "I am meeting my Grandfather

to-morrow. I am so interested to hear what he remembers about WWII.

Now we are here cozy and safe in quiet Ottawa that war time is so..,

well, totally diffrent from the sphere of to-day."

I HAVE NEWS FOR YOU.

Whatever happens then and now is really the same.

There is a dispute. Fighting at age 18 to 38 and the two women.

Why does diplomacy fail?

Because preparations have already been made for  THE RAGE.

There is always that age-group. Soaked in testosterone.

Be nice and polite to people in the age-group, especially when

you fall outside that age-group.

Was there a dispute that failed, you said? Who cares. The 18 - 38s

are ready to have anyone's neck wrung like a chicken.

The war will rumble and grumble amidst an almost unsurmountable

mountenous mass of cement rubble, on and on and on.

Then it all stops.

The sphere of war a somber, depressing greynes is lifting.

Lights go on everywhere.

Two women in a dust filled street, leaning on their broomsticks,

"was that really necessary?"

You see

THE RAGE can skip a few generations. Many a man could see a

winning way for the good of the country and their popularity if

they can swing it, at the polls. If so, the machinery, the instruments

for a war are put in place and they are off to make it happen.

Another rage is set free ('oh, that lovely war')

We all know the earth is round, but you'd swear it is flat after that.

In a choking, dust-filled street of unending rubble you'll see .....

two women. I still remember their voices. They said, 'was all this necessary?

THE RAGE will never stop. Unless.....'

When we come together at Virtual Cafe WIM
