Contentment is all

Contentment is all

I send an e-mail to you. The temperature dropped. Virtual Cafe WIM is always OPEN. I am not there to-night.

Now, the CONCLUSION after THE RAGE that is an unstoppable urge to engage in combat when testosterone needs release.

What brings Heaven closer to our planet is body control. Without body contact other than the glorious intimate embrace.

Mountain climbing, yachting, tennis 5 hours as in Wimbledon, bicycling 20KM every day for 20 years is testosterone use.

The Olympics are the epitome of mind over matter.  Cafe WIM on Sussex drive had bikini shows. A triumphant display of body lines.

That is when control -as in mind over matter, deserves applause. Heaven is closer to the planet because good results are SO good.

So, the play is on. In your grown-up meanderings you realize that the whole thing is a miracle. This planet life needs arrention and study.

There are about 100 years to do that. Regular daily duties bring that to half (20-70 yrs) of purposeful enjoyment in self-controlled living.

One point of checking things out is.... the cafe. In the 1970-80-90s Cafe WIM's main purpose was to create the atmosphere to do that.

To meet, to check-out how things are standing, to see fellow planet people. Get to know what they think of daily encounters at work.

We all know that there are wars. We try to fit that in in the very short planet experience but there isn't the time for it.

Just as our long ago Fathers -and Mothers, sat under a tree to solve a difference, find a way to proceed. The trees should be replaced by cafes.

To absorbe the miracle of life is all we have our hairy short life for. All everyone of us wants is contentment, peacefulness. Contentment is all.

When I asked the Government of Canada to accept me and stay, the Authorities said, Yes, but use your talent to contribute to the country.

I wrote to the Member of Parliament that the wire supporting poles in Sparks Street must go. Foreign delegations get an up-dated view.

The same Honourable Member also followed-up on relocating the E.B.Eddy plant from which no one  could stand the sulphur (bad egg) smell of it.

I wrote to the Mayor of Ottawa Ms Dewar to make bicycling Westward possible at the Champlain bridge. She forwarded my letter to the NCC chairman Ms Pigott who could make changes in that NCC territory. It would be studied. It's done now.

My next proposals are for a truly old country touch at the entrance to Britannia Village by the making of a "village square." One can readily imagine youngsters on the market square benches kissing under old fahioned lanterns (and keep an eye on them.)

A By-law that stipulates the way numbers must be put on all buildings with light on them as well. Motorists will be less prone to have an attack of "road rage" whenever a vehicle stops in front for no apparent reason. Almost a collision. Clear numbers help improve business' pride.

Sussex was a touch "grey-ish" in the sixties. After mulling that over. a touch-of-Dutch may have given a wimsical whiff of colour. Cafe WIM a good sphere. After twenty years my own burn-out. But the NCC and the City were pleased. Even approval from Holland. There was contentment and quiet enjoyment.

Je crois que j'ai contribue.  Le Canada me donnait la chance.  Je vous prie d'accepter mon plus profonde merci.  Vive le grand pays,  Wim
